Home High Teas

Today, Bird and I headed to the markets in town, to have a little scout around. I had the nicest Chai Latte I have ever had, and Bird enjoyed a hot choc of course. It was so cold, and windy. I wish I had have taken my scarf thank you very much.

After the markets, I went out to my sister’s house for a little morning tea. It was delish. My sisters and I you see are quite obsessed with Kitchen Aid Mix Masters. They both have one each, in the Green Apple, and Almond Cream ( I would definitely buy the pistachio, when it comes to the day), so they have been baking up storms, and much to my liking, we had Jam Drops and Corn Flake bikkies as we enjoyed the peace and quiet.
Hurrah to Kitchen Aid’s, family and home high teas!

Home Sweet Home

I'm finally home for the holidays....eep! It’s been so lovely so far, the weather is cool, the mornings are crisp and the evenings are full of teapots and slippers.
Mum and I enjoyed some lovely T2 the other night, and I have loved the lazy days sitting downstairs, working on my computer, and drinking lots and lots o’ tea. Yummo
It’s so great to be home for a holiday. I start work tomorrow for five weeks, and then I will be heading back to Uni for another semester of learning. I think I will enjoy the break while I get the chance.

*I miss my family in Townsville though, so very, very much – Popcorn, Shark, Music, Barfield & B-riley...
I wish you were here too!

**P.S Barfield & B-riley, I have been using the fab cook books you both bought me, and the lovely platter.

Wining & Dining

Tonight we went out on the town, (again) - our dinner dates are fastly increasing, and we seem to be frocking up and heading into the city for a lot ot nights out.  We have been wining and dining our way through a pack of marvellous cards, thank you very much! They are a nice little deal that our lovely city has going, where we can go to one of the places on the cards, and when you buy a main meal you get one free! woooo, Hurrah for lovely dining experiences, and the many more to come.

*Tonight we had Japanese, and then wandered on down to our favourite gelato hot spot on the strand. eep! I also got to wear my new blazer, which kept me nice and warm in the winter chill. brrrr
